The Moniteau boys and girls basketball teams both had games with Clarion-Limestone postponed Wednesday.

They will be played today with 7:30 p.m. varsity starts, as Moniteau's boys travel to Clarion-Limestone and the girls host the Lions.

The Karns City High boys and girls basketball games against Union Wednesday were postponed.The girls game will be played Feb. 14 at Karns City.The boys will face off Feb. 16 at Union.Both dates have a varsity starts at 7:30 p.m.

SLIPPERY ROCK — Slippery Rock University football coach George Mihalik will announce his 2011 recruiting list later this week.Because of school cancellations earlier in the week, prospective recruits were unable to file their paperwork in time for Wednesday's national signing day.

ELON, N.C. — Slippery Rock University defensive line coach Al Washington has joined the Elon (N.C.) College staff as a linebackers coach.Washington served two seasons as a Rock assistant coach. Applications are being accepted for his position.
