To Jim

You sound ridiculuos. You and people like like you are part of the problem. Our youth suffer through all of this caos with education. Teachers have our children more of their awake time in a year than parents do. A huge part of all learning experience comes not only at home but at school from teachers. Lazy youth? Or did youth give up because the politics incorporated into education become overbearing? Home and school are at odds over the special education laws. Teachers striking? These people are overpaid to begin with. Teachers are highly cottled by the school districts and treat are kids exactly how they please. There are some good ones, but pleanty of lemons. Blaming the people at home is an Oh so easy blame game. Education is the responsibility of the educator/school. Schools do not want to spend money for programs, because they claim they are broke. It goes round and round and the student gets less education. In today's fast paced society, much more is required to educate students. When you have conflict between home and school no one wins and the student does not get educated. Then the blame game begins. Tenure should be against the law. Get rid of bad ineffective teachers. Why should tax payers put up with this? Keep the good teachers, get rid of the slackers. Life is not complicated, people like you complicate it.
