hey liz. take the min salary of say seneca valley teacher. and divide by the real hours worked. its in the 20+ dollar range. i believe they start around 38-42 grand a year . for 180 days worked!! not bad to start. that does not factor the full benefits.. once again the teachers either pay very little or nothing towards their benefits. this is a publice service job. now compare to what the local police officer makes, the hours they work. no snow days here.once again public service job being paid for by tax money.
