The study said that Fox News viewers were the most uninformed viewers on "political" issues. For instance:Most believed(Fox viewers) that the stimulus has had a worsening effect on the economy. Well, that is certainly debatable. For instance, the unemployment rate is worse now than before the stimulus. Secondly, home foreclosures are not improving(especially out here). Our nation's debt is over $14 trillion. Most state governments are deeply in debt. Most state pension funds are dangerously underfunded. I'm certainly not an economist, however, these factors seem to indicate a worsening (or at best a stagnant economy)economy. Finally, I'm not sure that anyone could make a definitive statement either way regarding the effect the stimulus has had on the economy since it is virtually unmeasurable. But I do know that the stimulus has us now almost $1 trillion further in debt.
