You lit up my life, you lit up my soul

You gave me more love, than one person should know

You told me you cared, showed it in every way

Then you just disappeared, one lonesome day

Gone without a trace, no evidence to be found

We all cried as we watched them lay you to rest

As they laid you to rest, our eyes filled with tears

My best friend was gone after sixty years

You were always there through the good and the bad
