WILKES-BARRE — Junior forward Devin Taylor scored 20 points and senior forward Maron Brown added 20 points and 10 rebounds as the Slippery Rock University men’s basketball team (5-3) downed Penn State Wilkes-Barre 78-63 Sunday afternoon.

Senior guard Jabril Bailey added 13 points and seven rebounds.

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. — Slippery Rock University senior kicker C.J. Bahr was 3-for-3 on both field goals and extra points to lead the Stripes team over the Stars 30-10 in the All-American Bowl all-star game for Division II and III schools.

“I talked to a lot of agents and NFL scouts up here,” Bahr said. “So I am going to work and train this spring to be ready in case I get a chance.”
