Witnesses say tornado hits Oregon town
AUMSVILLE, Ore. — A tornado has struck this small town south of Portland.
Witnesses reported heavy damage to some buildings and said people were trapped in their cars, but no injuries were reported.
Witnesses say the tornado touched down just before noon today. The extent of the damage was unknown.
An Aumsville resident told a television station reporter the twister tore the roof off two homes.
