LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. — Colorado Rockies manager Jim Tracy was released from a hospital Tuesday after mild arrhythmia caused him to collapse shortly after midnight at the baseball winter meetings.

Tracy and his family headed back to their home near Bradenton in the afternoon.

Rockies spokesman Jay Alves said it was not known whether Tracy had previously been diagnosed with arrhythmia — an irregular heartbeat.

Tracy, who turns 55 on Dec. 31, managed the Los Angeles Dodgers from 2001-2005 and Pittsburgh in 2006-07 before taking over the Rockies.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Slippery Rock University men's soccer players Greg Blum, Tom Pool and Mitch Walters are repeat selections to the All-Atlantic Region team.Blum, a first-team choice, was selected the top goaltender in the region. Pool is a defender and also a first-team choice.Walters, a midfielder, made the third team.

LOCK HAVEN — Butler graduate and Mercyhurst College senior forward Amy Achesinski was named PSAC West Women's Basketball Athlete of the Week for the second consecutive week.She recorded 22 points and 14 rebounds, sank 8 of 10 free throws and blocked three shots in an 80-70 overtime win over Urbana (Ohio).
