Senior guard Jabril Bailey scored with 2.5 seconds remaining to lead the Slippery Rock University men’s basketball team to a 68-67 win over Dominican (N.Y.) in the opening game of the Nyack (N.Y.) Tournament Friday night.

It was the third straight win for The Rock (3-2).

Bailey finished with a team-high 23 points and seven rebounds. He scored 17 of those points in the second half.

SRU didn’t score its first points until more than five minutes had elapsed to start the game and trailed 34-27 at halftime.

The Rock will play at 4 p.m. Saturday against host Nyack College.
