Butler Little Theatre presents the New Age comedy “Greetings!” through Saturday at the theater at One Howard St. Curtain is at 7:30 p.m. today and at 8:15 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Tickets are $10 and available by calling 724-287-6781 between 7 and 9 p.m. Mondays through Fridays.
“A Hosanna! Holiday Celebration” is planned for Dec. 11 in the Penn Christian Academy auditorium, 198 W. Airport Road. There will be two seatings for the dinner and 80-minute show: one at noon and the other at 5 p.m. Doors open at 11:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. respectively. The show will be “Four Tickets to Christmas,” a turn-of-the-last-century Americana musical highlighting Christmas themes and blending ragtime and barbershop music with new holiday music. Tickets are $20 for adults and $7 for children age 10 and younger. Tickets are available in advance only, and reservations are required by Tuesday. The Strand Theater, 119 N. Main St., Zelienople, will present an original live production, “It's a USO Christmas,” at 8 p.m. Dec. 10 and 11. Tickets range from $25 to $35, with a 10 percent discount for military families. “It's a USO Christmas” takes the audience back in time to those famous USO programs produced for the boys in uniform overseas in the 1940s and 50s. <B>Ford City Library Players</B> will present “A Christmas Story,” humorist Jean Shepherd’s memoir of growing up in the Midwest in the 1940s featuring 9-year-old Ralphie Parker in his quest to get a genuine Red Ryder BB gun under the tree for Christmas. The show will go on at 7 p.m. today, Friday and Saturday in the Ford City High School auditorium, 1100 Fourth Ave., as a fundraising event for the Ford City Library.
