Kevin and State Senator White
Kevin, Warren Buffett pays a lower percentage in taxes than EVERYONE who works in his office, not just his secretary.
State Senator White seems to be a little too sensitive about having worked in the energy industry, taking energy industry campaign contributions, and subsequently opposing a Marcellus tax which would be mostly paid by those who do not reside in Pennsylvania. She seems to think everyone just fell off the turnip truck in the sense that this is classic politics. A politician works in a certain sector, gets into office, receives campaign contributions from the previous area of employment, then advocates stances which benefit that industry, and, finally, receives even more contributions from that industry. Don't be surprised if the energy industry at least doubles their contributions to State Senator White in the next election as a way of saying thanks for her stance.
