WESTVILLE, N.J. — Authorities say all children at a New Jersey elementary school have been safely evacuated after a fleeing bank robber might have gone inside.

The Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office says the children were taken to a nearby church, where their parents could pick them up.

The Parkview Elementary in Westville, across the river from Philadelphia, was locked down and searched this afternoon after a robber fled on foot from the Colonial National Bank toward the school.

The robber remains at large.
