JACKSON TWP — A state police fire investigator is searching for clues into what sparked a blaze early this morning that damaged a house and destroyed an attached garage.

No one was home at 107 Metcalf Road and no one was injured in the fire that started in the garage, fire officials said.

A car and custom motorcycle in the garage also were destroyed.

A motorist on Interstate 79, which parallels Metcalf Road, saw the fire and called 911 at 12:15 a.m.
