VOLANT The Butler Notables Barbershop Chorus will help open the Christmas season in Volant by strolling and singing Christmas carols barbershop style from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday on Main Street.

An “olde fashioned Main Street” will take place from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday.

Breakfast with Santa is set for 9 a.m. Saturday at Neshannock Creek Inn. Reservations are required by calling 724-533-2233.

Santa will parade in a horse-drawn carriage at 1 p.m.

Other activities will include face painting at the Blue Heron Gallery, vendors and a tree lighting.

In addition to the Butler Notables, music will be provided by strolling dulcimer player Carol Rak, the Lawrence County Brass, strolling minstrel Dan Hulse and harp player Allysa Passavento at The Depot.

Carriage rides will be available for a fee. Reservations may be made by calling 724-533-5054.
