Couples planning to be married over the Thanksgiving holiday should apply for their marriage license now. Pennsylvania law requires a waiting period.The Marriage License Bureau is in the Register of Wills and Clerk of Orphans' County office, Level L, of the Butler County Government Center, 124 W. Diamond St.The last day to apply for a marriage license in time for a Thanksgiving weekend ceremony is Nov. 19.All holiday licenses must be picked up no later than 4 p.m. Nov. 24.
