Viola G. Widener
Viola G. Widener, 90, of Butler was called home by her Heavenly Father Wednesday at the Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born June 3, 1920, in New York, N.Y., the daughter of the late George and Myrtle (Hines) West.
Viola was a member of the St. Paul Catholic Church.
Surviving are six daughters, Linda M. Widener of Los Angeles, Calif., Lorraine Widener of Butler, Mrs. Keith (Deborah) Bachman of Olympia, Wash., Mrs. Anthony (Shirley) Scialabba of Butler, Mrs. James (Michelle) Sullivan of Brighton, Colo., and Patricia Robin Widener of Butler; two sons, Anthony George Widener of Butler and John Michael Widener of Anaheim Hills, Calif.; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She also was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Widener who died Sept. 20, 1996; and an infant brother, who died at birth.
