Mary L. Fritz, 90, of Valencia, formerly of Cherryville, N.C., died Monday afternoon at Fosnight's Nursing Center in Richland Township.

Born in Meyersdale, Somerset County, Feb. 23, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Homer and Maude Schrock Fritz.

Mary was a physical therapist for handicapped children in North Carolina.

Surviving are two sisters, Evelyn Decker and Catherine Pritts, both of Valencia. She was the aunt of Cheri Rodgers of Butler, Connie Gmuer of West Virginia, Marty Decker of Butler, Weeta McAfee of Florida, Donna Miller and Tom Pritts, both of Valencia, and the late Carol Kalkowski.

Fritz, who died Monday, Sept. 27, 2010, are invited to a memorial service at Valencia United Methodist Church, 66 Almira St., Valencia, on Thursday at 7 p.m. with the Rev.
