SLIPPERY ROCK — Slippery Rock University will celebrate the heritage, customs and traditions of Native Americans with a daylong program Nov. 4, featuring the Council of Three Rivers American Indian Center.

The day opens in the University Union with a 9 a.m. gathering featuring traditional dances and songs.

The day will include story telling, hands-on activities, dances, songs and a discussion of "The Power of Diversity" will be offered at 2 p.m.
