ERIE — An Erie woman on trial for a bank robbery plot in which a pizza delivery driver was eventually killed by a collar bomb said she never laid eyes on the man until she saw him die on videotaped coverage of the explosion on that evening's news.

Testifying in her own defense Tuesday, Marjorie Diehl-Armstrong, 61, said, "I never met Brian Wells, and I never knew Brian Wells."

She's charged with armed bank robbery and other crimes for her alleged role in planning the heist that day, Aug. 28, 2003.
