Karenbauer

Joseph E. Karenbauer, 49, of Herman, passed Friday afternoon at V.N.A. Inpatient Hospice following an illness.

He was born Oct. 18, 1960, in Butler, son of Lorraine Penrod Karenbauer and the late Blaine D. Karenbauer.

Joe was a graduate of Butler High School Class of 1979. He worked as a laborer in the construction industry.

He was a member of Saint Mary of the Assumption Roman Catholic Church in Herman.

He is survived by his mother, Lorraine Penrod Karenbauer of Herman; two brothers, Dave and Claudene Karenbauer of Herman, and Tim Karenbauer of Herman; two sisters, Theresa and her husband Mike Spohn of Butler, and Donna and her husband Jerry Carben of Butler; four nieces, Cathy Karenbauer, Courtney Carben, Tiffany and Samantha Ferry; two nephews, Jericho Carben and Andrew Graham; and a number of great-nieces and great-nephews.

Karenbauer, who died Friday, Sept. 24, 2010, will be received in the <B>Martin Funeral Home</B>, 429 Center Ave., Butler, on Sunday, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at Saint Mary of the Assumption R.C. Church on Monday at 11 a.m.Burial will follow in Saint Mary Cemetery.
