Mary Lou Glenn

Mary Lou (Somerville) Glenn, 86, of Altoona, formerly of Zelienople, died Wednesday.

Born May 5, 1924, in East Liverpool, Ohio, she was the daughter of Charles W. and Mary Ann (Pfaub) Somerville.

Mrs. Glenn was a member of Grace Church of Harmony and a former member of the Order of Eastern Star.

She worked alongside her husband, the late R. Carl Glenn, at Glenn-Kildoo Funeral Home in Zelienople for many years.

Mrs. Glenn enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, filling her home with their photographs.

She is survived by her daughter, Linda L. Miller and her husband, Richard, of Altoona; a brother, James W. Somerville and his wife, Marijane, of Michigan; three grandchildren, Erin Ventre and her husband, Mike, of Altoona, David Miller of Altoona, and Ashley Pyzowski of Hollidaysburg; and three great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn Ventre, Kennadie Miller and Michael Ventre.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, R. Carl Glenn, who died Oct. 3, 2002.

<B>GLENN</B> — Friends of Mary Lou (Somerville) Glenn, who died Wednesday, Sept. 22, 2010, will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. today at <B>Glenn-Kildoo Funeral Home</B>, 219 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Interment will be at St. Paul's Lutheran Church Cemetery, Zelienople.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Horizons Hospice, 309 E.
