Grace A. Forster
Grace A. (Vogt) Forster, 97, of Cowansville died Wednesday at her home.
Born Oct. 27, 1912, in Bradys Bend Township, Armstrong County, she was a daughter of the late John C. Vogt and Daisy D. (Laird) Vogt.
She was a homemaker and belonged to the St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church in Bradys Bend.
She enjoyed being around her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include two sons, John R. "Bob" (Rebecca) Forster of Butler and William F. (Sylvia) Forster of Leechburg; four daughters, Mary Ann (Louis) Walter of Lower Burrell, Eleanor Forster of Cowansville, Margretta Forster of Cowansville and Lois (Donald) Beckett of Sarver; seven grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Grace was preceded in death by her husband, John F. Forster, who she married Sept. 11, 1937, and who died Nov. 19, 1975; three brothers, Homer, Charles and Walter Vogt; and two sisters, Mary Hall and Sarah Vogt.
<B>FORSTER</B> — Friends of Grace A. (Vogt) Forster, who died Wednesday, Sept. 22, 2010, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the <B>SNYDER-CRISSMAN FUNERAL HOME </B>in Cowansville. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday in St. Patrick Catholic Church in Bradys Bend with Father Ron L. Cyktor Jr. officiating.
