Dixie McDermott, 70, of Sarver passed away Wednesday at the Good Samaritan Hospice.

Born June 9, 1940, in Winfield Township, she was the daughter of Thomas and Florence Morris Allison.

She was a medical biller for Fair Winds Manor.

She was a member of the Cabot United Methodist Church.

Surviving are three sons, Donald McDermott of Portland, N.Y., William (Kathleen) Yockey of Melbourne, Fla., and David Yockey of Sarver; two daughters, Cynthia McDermott of Monrovia, Md., and Peggy (Daniel) Mohan of Sarver; two sisters, Alverda (Richard) Swartz of Freeport and Mary Jackson of Bradenton, Fla.; 11 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald J. McDermott, on Nov. 26, 2009; her parents; and one granddaughter, Michaela.

<B>MCDERMOTT</B> — Friends of Dixie McDermott, who died Wednesday, Sept. 22, 2010, will be received Thursday from 3 to 7 p.m. at the <B>Fox Funeral Home</B>, Saxonburg. Services will follow at 7 p.m. with the Rev. Matthew Judd officiating. Interment will be in the Sarversville Cemetery.Memorial donations may be made to the Cabot United Methodist Church, P.O.
