Jim
What in the world are you talking about? I am not, and have never been, on WIC, food stamps, welfare or any other dole, ever. Yes, we all have to pay taxes, but to exempt one type of drilling from taxes, when every other business associated with that drilling is taxed is unfair. The only reason Tom Corbett is saying it will raise your taxes is because he got almost a million dollars for his campaign. That used to be called a bribe, now, thanks to our illegal supreme court, it is called a contribution.
So you think the Democrat's healthcare bill is raising your taxes? The New York Times has this nugget: "Calculations by the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office and other independent fiscal experts show that the $1.1 trillion cost over the next 10 years of the Medicare prescription drug program, which the REPUBLICAN CONTROLLED CONGRESS adopted in 2003, by itself would add more to the deficit than the combined costs of the bailout, the stimulus and the health care law." It was Bush who ran us into the ground in every way possible!
Maybe you think it was the bailout that causes your taxes. This is from Bloomberg: The TARP bailout "provided taxpayers with higher returns than they could have made buying 30-year Treasury bonds -- enough money to fund the Securities and Exchange Commission for the next two decades. The government has earned $25.2 billion on its investment of $309 billion in banks and insurance companies, an 8.2 percent return over two years."
So if you are trying to blame the Democrats for your tax bill, you are wrong. Your post is so childish. Next time don't take a tantrum, post something intelligent.
