Walter F. "Walt" Marnik, 58, of Gibsonia died Wednesday.

Born Sept. 22, 1951, in Pittsburgh to Francis and Anna (Dujak) Marnik of Castle Shannon, he was the loving father of Megan (James Jr.) Newell of San Antonio, Texas, Benjamin (Janette) Marnik of Chippewa and Kira (Anthony) Napolitano of West Deer Township; dear brother of George Marnik of Marieville, Maine, Richard Marnik of McKinney, Texas, and Carol Page of Bethel Park; and proud and devoted grandfather of Devin, Dylan and Delanie Newell, Emma, Maxwell and Samuel Marnik and Destinee Napolitano and Jacob Zabela.

Walt had a love for books, music and the outdoors, but above all, his beautiful family. He will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered.
