Where's the sense?
Saw this in another PA newspaper recently and thought I'd post it verbatim. Can not vouch for the authenticity.
"Let me get this right:
Cross the North Korean border illegally, you get 12 years of hard labor.
Cross the Iranian border illegally, you are detained indefinitely.
Cross the Afghanistan border illegally you get shot.
Cross the Saudi Arabian border illegally, you get jailed indefinitely.
Cross the Chinese border illegally, you will be labeled a spy and your fate is sealed.
Cross the Cuban border illegally, you will be thrown into a political prison to rot.
Cross the U.S. border illegally you get: a job, driver's license, Social Security card, welfare, food stamps, credit cards, subsidized rent or a loan to buy a house, free education, free health care, a lobbyist in Washington, billions of dollars worth of public documents printed in your language, right to carry your country's flag while you burn ours, all while shouting that you get no respect, and in many instances, you can can vote. Makes sense to me."(yeah,right). Something to think about.
