Palone Sr.

Ronald W. Palone Sr., 71, of Harmony died Sunday at Kindred Hospital, Oakdale.

Born Jan. 11, 1939, in Carmic-haels, he was the son of Ronald and Ruth (Miller) Palone.

Mr. Palone loved the Lord and was a faithful member of the First Bible Baptist Church, Harmony.

He is survived by three sons, Robert Palone and Ronald Palone, both of Pittsburgh, and Pastor David G. Smith and his wife, Laurie, of Prospect; two daughters, Carolyne C. Coleman and her husband, Christopher, of Harmony and Diana Mary Robeson and her husband, Kenneth, of Sarver; a sister, Judy Bochnak of Carmichaels; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Geraldine (Napoleon) Palone, who died Sept. 26, 2007; and a son, Francis "Del" Smith Jr.

<B>PALONE</B> — Friends of Ronald W. Palone Sr., who died Sunday, Sept. 5, 2010, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today at the <B>Boylan Funeral Home</B>, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with Pastor David G. Smith, his son and pastor of First Bible Baptist Church, officiating.
