Blanche M. Flinn
Blanche M. Flinn, 90, of Mars, formerly of West View, died Saturday at the LAS St. John Specialty Care Center in Mars.
Born in Pittsburgh, Feb. 13, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Alliquippa Cox Krahl.
She served as a sergeant in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Blanche had worked for the Pennsylvania Unemployment Office as a claims examiner.
She had been a member of St. Luke's Evangelical Lutheran Church in West View.
She was the mother of Richard Flinn and his wife, Cynthia, of Mars and the late Pamela Kestenbaum; grandmother of Erica and James Flinn and Bess Kestenbaum; and sister-in-law of Richard D. Flinn of Mars.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Flinn; and a brother, Walter Krahl.
