Fighting Scot unveiled
The 12-ton Fighting Scot sculpture constructed by 2003 Butler High School graduate Ira Gerhart was recently unveiled at Edinboro University. The large bronze piece unveiled last month is a figure in motion, running with a flowing cape and kilt. The statue stands 12 feet tall, 16 feet end to end and 10 feet wide arm to arm. Gerhart was on hand for the ceremony. He is a 2007 alumnus of Edinboro.
