HARRISBURG — Pennsylvania's candidates for U.S. Senate are expected to meet for two debates later this month.

These would be the first scheduled debates in the closely contested race between Democrat Joe Sestak and Republican Pat Toomey.

The first debate is to be held at 7 p.m. Oct. 20 at the Constitution Center in Philadelphia. ABC News said Monday the debate will air on its Philadelphia affiliate WPVI and will stream live on ABCNews.com and Facebook.

It is to be moderated by "Good Morning America" co-host George Stephanopoulos and WPVI anchor Jim Gardner.

The campaigns say they are discussing a second debate to be held two days later Oct. 22 at the CBS TV affiliate in Pittsburgh, KDKA. Details weren't immediately available.
