PITTSBURGH — Tim Monfre of Butler won the men's age 50-to-54 division of the City Of Pittsburgh Great Race Sunday, finishing the 10K event in 35 minutes, 56 seconds.

Leslie Kramer of Slippery Rock was second in the women's age 30-34 division with a time of 38:12. Rich Makin of Saxonburg was third in the men's 50-54 division in 38:47 and Bob Gracie of Cranberry Township was third in the men's 60-64 division in 42:57.

Gary Boyd, 62, of Butler, one of 26 men to compete in all 33 Great Races, ran the 10K in 58:29.

There were a record 14,000 runners in the overall field.

SHIPPENVILLE — Moniteau quarterback Kyle Armagost was named D9Sports.com Football Player of the Week.Armagost threw for 316 yards and three touchdowns and ran 24 times for 143 yards and three scores in the Warriors' 46-32 win over Redbank Valley.Moniteau receiver Ethan Pry, with eight catches for 184 yards and two TDs, was considered was for the honor.
