Stoner 50th anniversary
Ronald and Rosalee Stoner of Butler celebrated 50 years of marriage with a trip to the Lancaster area to see the play "Joseph" and have dinner with a group of friends at the Dutch Apple Dinner Theater.
Stoner married the former Rosalee Varner on Sept. 17, 1960, at the Monroe Chapel Methodist Church in Sligo.
They have four children, Ronald Stoner, Rick Stoner and Roger Stoner, all of Butler, and Rodney Stoner of Bellaire, Ohio.
They also have 10 grandchildren.
Stoner retired in 1994 from the rigger shop at Armco after 36 years. He also worked for Ken-Fab and Weld of Butler. He is a self-employed locksmith.
He enjoys gardening, hunting and travel.
Mrs. Stoner is a homemaker.
She enjoys crocheting, reading and travel.
The Stoners enjoy playing cards with their family and friends.
The couple attends Community Alliance Church and the First United Methodist Church.
