HARRISBURG — The gubernatorial candidates agreed to hold their second debate next month in Pittsburgh.

The campaigns of Republican nominee Tom Corbett and Democratic candidate Dan Onorato confirmed the arrangements Tuesday.

The candidates will face off on the evening of Oct. 16 at the studios of WPXI-TV in Pittsburgh. The hour-long debate, sponsored by the Pennsylvania Association of Broadcasters, will be made available live to TV and radio stations statewide.

John Baer, a political columnist for the Philadelphia Daily News, will be the moderator.

The gubernatorial candidates are to hold their first debate Sept. 27 in Hershey at the annual dinner of the Pennsylvania Chamber of Business and Industry.
