Jury deliberating in drug case involving Summit Township family
The Weitzel family's trial went to the jury for deliberation this afternoon.
Defense attorneys don't expect the jury to take long in reaching a verdict.
Bradley Calvin Weitzel, his wife Mary Weitzel and their son Bradley Elton Weitzel were charged with various drug charges by the state Attorney General's office.
Bradley Calvin Weitzel took the blame for buying marijuana and psychedelic mushrooms that were found in the family's Summit Township home in 2006. The marijuana, he testified, was for his wife's glaucoma.
