Powell

William Stearns Powell, 84, of Moriarty, N.M., passed away in Albuquerque, N.M., on July 29.

William was born in New Kensington, Dec. 2, 1926, to Henry Blaney and Mildred L. (Jones) Powell.

William was previously married to Phyllis K. Powell.

He married Karen Ann Pincek in Butler on March 31, 1973. They lived in Moriarty since 1999, having previously lived in Butler.

Mr. Powell is survived by his wife of 37 years, Karen Ann Powell; sons, Richard Raymond and his wife, Diane Powell and Jeffrey William Powell; daughter, Crystal L. Powell; brother, David A. Powell; sister, Margaret Ann Powell; and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his son, Eric William; and sisters Shirley J. Powell and Christine Powell.
