Arnold T. Neubert
Arnold T. Neubert, 90, of Butler passed away Saturday at the VA Butler Healthcare.
Born March 31, 1920, in Cabot, he was the son of Herbert E. Neubert and Anna (Andree) Neubert.
He served in the U.S. Army during World War II in the Philippines.
He worked as a maintenance welder for the US Steel Sintering Plant, retiring in 1984 after 25 years.
He was a member of the St. Luke Lutheran Church, Cabot.
He also was a member and past president of the Sunset Riders Motorcycle Club and a member of Saxonburg VFW Post 7376, the Retread Motor Club, the American Motorcycle Association and the Gold Wing Road Riders Association. He was an avid motorcyclist.
Surviving are his loving children, Arnold Craig (Betty) Neubert of Mahnomen, Minn., Jacqueline A. Barron of Butler and Jeffrey L. (Connie) Neubert of Sarver; 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; his brother, Vernon (Eileen) Neubert of Centre Hall, Pa.; his sister-in-law, Avis Neubert of Cabot; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Dorothy (Harris) Neubert, who passed away May 14, 2008; and two brothers, Edgar and Glenn Neubert.
<B>NEUBERT</B> — Friends of Arnold T. Neubert, who died Saturday, Aug. 7, 2010, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the <B>Fox Funeral Home Inc.</B>, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Luke Lutheran Church, Cabot, with the Rev. Jason Hoerth officiating.
