Joe, you state "No matter how much you may disagree with the boss, it is best to keep your mouth shut after a certain point." I totally agree. Let's go a little further. We laugh at the boss's jokes, even if they are racial, homophobic or just plain stupid. We'll agree with his or her political stance even we though we really don't. We will accept unearranted criticism. We do all these things for one reason: we don't want to lose our job! In a sense, we prostitute ourselves every day to keep the paycheck coming.

I don't, I've been retired a number of years but there were times when I disagreed with my boss I paid for it.
