Kara Mullins and Ashley Paganie each scored second-half goals to lead the Slippery Rock University women's soccer team to a 2-0 blanking of Seton Hill Sunday.

Mullins and Paganie scored 30 seconds apart in the second half after The Rock (2-0) struggled offensively in the first half.

SRU outshot Seton Hill 29-4.

Goalie Dana O'Neill earned her second win and second career shutout for The Rock.

Grove City 3, Oberlin (Ohio) 0 — Grove City High graduate Shannon Bishop scored 89 seconds into the second half to help the Wolverines to a lopsided victory.For Bishop, a freshman, it was her first collegiate goal.

Kenneth Fultz scored on a penalty kick in the second half to help Slippery Rock University to a 1-1 draw against Charleston (W.Va.) University Sunday.Charleston outshot The Rock (1-0-1) 13-5 in the first half.

The Slippery Rock University women's team placed third at the Sea Gull Invitational in Salisbury, Md., Saturday.Crystal Burnick won the individual title for The Rock, finishing first with a time of 21 minutes, 30 seconds.

Grove City College junior quarterback Clayton Hall rushed for 228 yards, setting a school record for single-game rushing yards by a quarterback, but the Wolverines fell to Carnegie Mellon 28-21 Saturday.Hall, who also rushed for two touchdowns, is only the fourth player in school history to gain more than 200 yards on the ground in a game, joining R.J. Bowers, Steve Roberts and Doug Steiner.
