Liz, I fully agree with you that teacher bashing is wrong no matter what. You said it doesn't happen in your district so I am guessing that the teachers in your district do NOT have the right to strike OR do not use that right? I agree that Administration is ridiculously over paid no doubt. I must add that respect MUST go both ways and I did NOT see that happening in SB. I don't think the district hurt the teachers as much as I believe the teachers hurt themselves in the walk out. Maybe it's just my opinion, but I know many others share that opinion with me. I am very glad that you care about your niece and nephew because we need more people who get involved from the outside to keep balance. That is important.
