Anthony Paganie and Mitchell Walters each tallied a second-half goal to give the 13th-ranked Slippery Rock University men's soccer team a 2-1 victory over Washington Adventist (Md.) University in the season opener at Shippensburg University.

Paganie's goal tied the game in the 51st minute before Walters's score followed three minutes later.

Goalie Greg Blum recorded two saves.

The Rock plays No. 7 Charleston (W.Va.) at 1 p.m. Sunday. It will be a rematch of the NCAA Regional from last season, when Charleston prevailed 3-2 to advance to the NCAA quarterfinals.
