Robert Goldbach, 64, of Portersville died Friday afternoon at the Evergreen Nursing Center in Harmony.

He was born Sept. 8, 1945, in Pittsburgh and was the son of Herman and Helen Kuhn Goldbach.

He was a Catholic.

He was a maintenance worker for area restaurants. He also volunteered at the Portersville Food Pantry and the Portersville Fire Department.

He was an avid fisherman.

He is survived by three sisters, Virginia Herrlich and her fiance, Richard Shaffer, of Florida, Mrs. John (Helenmarie) Ruggles of Florida and Mrs. Richard (Cyndi) Burns of Harmony; two brothers, Herman and his wife, Clare Goldbach of Pittsburgh and Jerry and his wife, Sandy Goldbach of Harmony; and by several nieces and nephews.

<B>GOLDBACH</B> — Visitation for Robert Goldbach, who died Friday, July 30, 2010, will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today at the <B>Jay Bryan Funeral Home</B>, 443 Main St., Prospect. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Bob Frye of the Portersville Alliance Church officiating.
