Raymond J. Fornauf, 87, of Cranberry Township died Friday at his home.

Born May 19, 1923, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Philipp and Irene (Wolfe) Fornauf.

Mr. Fornauf was a World War II U.S. Army Air Corps veteran.

He retired as manager of McDevitts Radiator Service in Ambridge after 42 years of service.

Mr. Fornauf was a member of the St. Ferdinand Roman Catholic Church, where he served as a greeter. He also enjoyed working on projects at the church and volunteering at the church's festival.

He is survived by his son, James R. Fornauf (Virginia "Ginger") of Cranberry Township; and a sister, Dolores Quinn (Thomas) of Pittsburgh. Also surviving are nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret (Dietz) Fornauf; his granddaughter, Jennifer M. Fornauf; two brothers, Frank and Robert Fornauf; and two sisters, Dorothea Babcox and Mary Yankovic.

<B>FORNAUF</B> — Friends of Raymond J. Fornauf, who died Friday, July 30, 2010, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the <B>Glenn-Kildoo Funeral Home Inc.</B> of Cranberry Township, 130 Wisconsin Ave., Cranberry Township. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Ferdinand Roman Catholic Church, 2535 Rochester Road, Cranberry Township.
