Pauline E. Glenn, 82, of West Sunbury passed away peacefully at noon Thursday at her residence.

She was born Jan. 28, 1928, in Clay Township, the daughter of the late George and Sophie M. (Yoch) Vidic.

Pauline was an active member of the West Sunbury United Presbyterian Church, having served on several different committees including: Trustees, Secretary of the Congregation and the Sturmer Committee.

She was a member of the Ladies Aid where she was past president and also a member of the Ladies Missionary Society.

She previously taught Sunday school, Bible school, directed children's Christmas plays and helped with the Easter egg hunt. She was an avid quilter, displaying her quilts at church and quilt shows.

She also was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary.

Surviving are her husband of 60 years, Clair L. Glenn, affectionately called Scrape, who she married June 8, 1950 at West Sunbury Church; two daughters, Deborah and her husband John Thornbury and Lucinda and her husband, Jack Grindle, all of West Sunbury; a son, Gregory and his wife, Tina Glenn of West Sunbury; eight grandchildren, Erin Hartle, Heather Bayless, Abby Klingensmith, Garrett and Zane Grindle, David, Tyler and Fontaine Glenn; four great-grandchildren, Kyle Klingensmith, Lucy and Gracie Hartle and Sidney Bayless; and a brother, Don Vidic of West Sunbury.

She was preceded in death by her beloved grandson, Clair Louis Glenn, a sister, Lillian Yartz and a brother, Edward Vidic.

Young Funeral Home</B>, 132 Main St., West Sunbury on Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at West Sunbury United Presbyterian Church with the Rev. William King officiating. Everyone to meet at church.
