Fred
Fred, you are naive and if you actually believe most of the wealthiest Americans simply "worked hard" for their wealth. Sorry, that is not reality. Again, most of the wealthiest Americans INHERIT their wealth. Ever hear of one has to have money to make money. Maybe you don't quite understand about all of the advantages one has by being born into a wealthy family. They may work hard for more wealth, but basically would not have it if they were not born into wealth. Plus, many of the richest Americans get richer by investing their money into things like stocks, which really isn't "work." The whole idea that any American can simply work hard and become one of the wealthiest people in the country is pretty much a myth with a few exceptions.
Fred, seriously, you sent me a link from the Heritage Foundation? Why not not send me "research" from Glenn Beck?
Even the information provided by the Heritage Foundation shows that the majority of jobs created under Clinton occurred BEFORE the tax cuts. Read their propaganda again. How can one seriously argue tax cuts created the jobs when most of the jobs were created before the tax cuts? Sorry, no one outside of the far right takes that Heritage Foundation idea seriously.
Fred, you and other right wingers remind me of the right wingers of the former USSR. Both you and your ilk and the right wing in the USSR believed, even when proven wrong, that their ideology was right,it only needed some slight tweaks. Tax cuts, tax cuts, tax cuts. That is all we need to do. Americans are paying the lowest rate of taxes since 1950, so by your logic, the economy should be booming. It isn't. The whole idea tha tax cuts for the wealthy create jobs was imploded during the Bush years. Again, Clinton raised taxes on the wealthy and over 22 million jobs were created. Bush cut taxes for the wealthiest only created about 1 million jobs. Those number don't lie, no matter how far right wing "think" tanks try to spin them.
Typical Republican. When things go badly under Republican leadership, it is not really because of the party. When thing go badly under Democratic leadership, it is the Democrats' fault. Take all of the credit, none of the blame, give no credit to Democrats, and blame everything on them. Kind of like George Bush not ever being able to name ONE mistake he made while in office.
