Tara Harpel Charles, 48, of Butler died Wednesday at Butler VNA Hospice.

She was born May 27, 1962, in Pittsburgh and was the daughter of James T. and Gloria J. Cicero Harpel.

She was a 1980 graduate of Mars High School.

She had been a communications consultant for the Pediatric Ophthalmology & Strabismus Inc. of Cranberry Township.

She was a Catholic.

She is survived by her parents of Butler; and two brothers, James J. Harpel of Butler and Cris A. Harpel of the North Hills.

Our beloved daughter's music soothes the angels in heaven.
