Joanne I. Draper, 60, of Butler died early Wednesday at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh.

She was born Dec. 5, 1949, in Butler, a daughter of Mary Campbell Green and the late Donald Green.

Joanne was a homemaker, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and attended St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Butler.

She greatly enjoyed gardening, cooking, and being with her family.

Her husband, Jeffrey H. Draper, whom she married Sept. 24, 1978, preceded her in death on April 10, 2008.

Surviving are two sons, Jim E. Wilson and Patty Cochran of Butler and Jefferson D. "Bud" Draper and Dawna Draper of Butler; two daughters, Kimberly S. Curzi and Raymond Heltsley of Butler and Crystal H. "Doll" and Richard "Chip" White also of Butler; her mother, Mrs. Mary Green of Butler; three brothers, Bob Green and Diane Roy, Tom Green and Cathy Conrad-Green and John and Becky Green, all of Butler; three sisters, Vivian and Bill Wachsmuth of Rochester, Joyce and Mike Cully of Renfrew and Donna and Randy Root of Idaho; three grandchildren, Amanda Wilson, Erykah Draper and Vanessa White; and a great-grandson, Loghan Wilson. Several nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive her.

<B>DRAPER</B> — Friends of Joanne I. Draper, who died Wednesday, July 28, 2010, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday. at <B>Geibel Funeral Home</B>, 201 E. Cunningham St. in Butler. Funeral services will follow at 8 p.m. with the Rev. Andrew DeFusco, vicar of St. Peter's Episcopal Church, officiating.
