Larry L. Walker
Larry L. Walker, 61, of Lyndora, formerly of Kittanning, died Tuesday at his home.
Born April 30, 1949, in Kittanning, he was the son of the late Arthur F. Walker and Betty L. (Nolder) Walker.
He worked as a stock boy at Friedman's Foodland and also worked at Pullman Standard.
Mr. Walker served in the Army during the Vietnam War.
He was of the Presbyterian faith.
He graduated from Kittanning High School in 1969.
He was an avid reader, a member of the YMCA, enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephews and was a volunteer at the VA Butler Healthcare.
Survivors include his brothers, Keith (Sherry) Walker of Hermitage, Richard (Sharon) Walker of Butler, Roger (Tammy) Walker of Butler, Jimmy (Margaret) Walker of Kittanning, Herman (Barb) Walker of Adrian and Arthur (Holly) Walker III of Templeton; sisters, Connie (Alvie) Armstrong of Kittanning, Cynthia (Robert) Hepfl of Adrian, Lena (Gary) Bowser of Hermitage, Bonnie (Leslie) McMillen of Kittanning, and Frankie Elaine (Carl) Kerns of Renfrew; and 38 nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Dale H. Walker; three nephews, Joseph Hepfl, Christopher Walker and David Walker; and one niece, Heather Walker.
<B>WALKER</B> — Friends of Larry L. Walker, who died Tuesday, July 20, 2010, will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the <B>SNYDER-CRISSMAN FUNERAL HOME</B> in Kittanning. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. James Berkebile officiating.
