Janet L. Richardson
Janet Lee Richardson, 67, of Ellwood City died Wednesday at her home surrounded by her family.
Born July 1, 1943, in Jackson Township, she was the daughter of Samuel and Thelma (Stevick) Frishkorn.
Mrs. Richardson was a lifelong member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Evans City.
She enjoyed ceramics and was an avid reader.
She was employed at the Bulk Mail Center in Warrendale. Each Christmas, she decorated the center for the holiday, and each spring, she planted flowers on the grounds there.
She is survived by four children, Cheryl Torrey and her husband, Michael, of Malibu, Calif., Robin Kugel of Masontown, Fayette County, Scott Kugel and his wife, Loida, of Williamsburg, Va., and Michael Kugel of the North Hills; a loving sister, Judith Kennedy and her husband, William, of Evans City; a brother, Sanford Joe Frishkorn and his wife, Lynne, of Harmony; and five grandchildren, Kayla and Allie Torrey, Natasha and Nathan Kugel and Adam Kugel. She also is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymon C. Richardson, who died Sept. 27, 2009; and two brothers, Gary and George Frishkorn.
<B>RICHARDSON</B> — Friends of Janet Lee Richardson, who died Wednesday, July 21, 2010, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the <B>Boylan Funeral Home</B>, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. David R. Saylor, her church pastor, officiating.
