Marjorie A. Robison, 82, of Butler passed away Monday at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born in Butler, May 13, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Emma Pizzi Zitalone.

She was a graduate of the Butler High School Class of January 1946.

A graduate of the Class of 1949 at the Mercy Hospital School of Nursing, she formerly was a registered nurse at Butler Memorial Hospital.

She was an accomplished musician, playing the organ, violin and piano. As a child, she entertained at her father's restaurant, "The Casino," on North Washington Street.

She was a member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church and the Mercy Hospital School of Nursing Alumni Association.

She is survived by two sons, John C. Robison and his wife, Robin, of Lyndora and Thomas A. Robison of Butler; three daughters, Patricia A. Miller of Butler, Mary Leyland and her husband, Michael, of Westerville, Ohio, and Therese Haley and her husband, Larry, of Butler; one brother, Richard "Rick" Zitalone of Butler; two sisters, Mary Jane Patrizio of Downingtown, Chester County, and Joann Billek and her husband, John, of Butler; 12 grandchildren, Kimberly Kunselman of Ulysses, Potter County; Amy Weisenstein of Slippery Rock; Jacob Robison of Washington, D.C.; Joshua Robison, Jared Robison and Rachel Robison, all of Lyndora; Nathan Leyland of Garner, N.C.; Michael Leyland II of Reynoldsburg, Ohio; Gregory Leyland of Gahanna, Ohio; Nicholas Leyland of Westerville, Ohio; and Seth Coyle and Laura Haley, both of Butler; and 12 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Charles E. "Pete" Robison, who passed away Sept. 19, 2008. They were married Feb. 11, 1949. Also preceding her in death were one granddaughter, Carrie Miller, and one brother, Anthony "Junior" Zitalone.

<B>ROBISON</B> — Friends of Marjorie A. Robison, who died Monday, July 19, 2010, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in the <B>Martin Funeral Home</B>, 429 Center Ave., Butler. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church. Entombment will take place in the Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum.The members of the St. Paul Catholic Women and Christian Mothers will meet at 9:35 a.m. Friday at the church to recite the rosary.In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to the St. Vincent de Paul Society.Information also is available at www.martinfh.net.
