BEAVER — A Western Pennsylvania county attorney says a sheriff's deputy fired earlier this year for allegedly threatening to shoot himself while drunk, will be fired again for drinking until he passed out.

Beaver County solicitor Myron Sainovich says 43-year-old deputy Joey David violated a "last chance" agreement by drinking at a social club Sunday. David denies that, saying he passed out from low blood sugar.

David was fired in January after he allegedly threatened to shoot himself during an argument with his girlfriend. David denied that and an arbitrator ordered him rehired after his girlfriend retracted her earlier account of the incident.

Sheriff George David — the deputy's cousin — is appealing the arbitrator's ruling. But Sainovich says he'll recommend the deputy be fired — again — for the latest incident.
